While attempting to aggregate usage statistics from e-resources vendors, the Georgetown University Electronic Resources team discovered that many vendor-provided files did not fully conform to the COUNTER standard.
An extension was added to the File Analyzer to detect (and fix where possible) non-conforming usage statistics files.
A solution was implemented for 4 COUNTER report types.
