DigitalGeorgetown is the institutional repository of Georgetown University. DigitalGeorgetown is built upon DSpace, an open-source repository platform. The Georgetown University Library has automated a number of ingest workflows for this repository.
The development of these tools allowed the Georgetown University Library to process a significant backlog of content that needed to be ingested into the Institutional Repository. These processes are routinely run for new ETD's generated each semester and for each new digitization project that is completed.
