Custom patches across DirectDraw, DirectShow/VMR, and the macOS window driver; per-title prefixes; automatic engine detection.
Systems work: C, Wine internals, DirectX→Metal, Rosetta-aware x86/wow64, reverse-engineering rendering & window bugs down to upstream-style fixes.
