34 hands-on labs taking practitioners from Green Belt to Black Belt depth — advanced measurement systems, advanced statistics, design of experiments, advanced SPC and the leadership skills to run a project portfolio and mentor Green Belts.
- Course Code: C913
- Course Title: Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB)
- Duration: 5 days / 37.5 hours
- Level: Advanced
- Mode: Instructor-led, hands-on practical labs
- Course Registration: Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB)
You do not wait until Day 5 to start a project. In Lab 1 you select and charter a real process from your own workplace, and every lab after that adds one artifact to it — charter, MSA study, regression model, DOE design, control plan. Day 5 consolidates those artifacts into an A3 storyboard and a steering committee presentation. The labs are the capstone, built one piece at a time.
A worked reference scenario is supplied throughout for anyone who cannot use workplace data.

|---|---|
| ~45% | DMAIC recap at depth — every phase re-derived from first principles, because a Black Belt must be able to mentor Green Belts through these tools |
| ~55% | Black Belt only — attribute MSA and Kappa, nested and destructive gauge studies, multiple regression, ANOVA and interactions, non-parametric tests, multi-vari studies, full and fractional factorial DOE, confounding and resolution, RSM, robust design, CUSUM, EWMA, short-run and multivariate SPC, portfolio leadership and financial benefits validation |
- Lead a Lean Six Sigma project portfolio — select, charter and govern projects aligned to business strategy.
- Validate measurement systems for continuous and attribute data using Gage R&R and Kappa analysis.
- Analyse process data using multiple regression, ANOVA, non-parametric tests and multi-vari studies.
- Design, run and interpret experiments using full and fractional factorial DOE and response surface methods.
- Select, de-risk and pilot improvements, and validate financial benefits with Finance sign-off.
- Sustain the gain using advanced SPC — CUSUM, EWMA, short-run and multivariate control charts.
- Lead change and mentor Green Belts through resistance, stakeholder management and tollgate governance.
- Deliver a capstone improvement project and present it to a steering committee.
