Become a sponsor to CHIKAMATSU Naohiro
Sponsorship keeps me motivated. If someone sponsors me, it means my OSS was actually useful to them, and that's enough.
I use the money for server costs, technical books, and sometimes toys for my kid.
I also match every sponsorship I receive by spending the same amount to sponsor other open-source developers. I'm not trying to make a living from sponsorships. What I want is proof that something I built was useful to someone — and your sponsorship is that proof.
The money then goes back into the open-source community, where it can help motivate someone else to keep building.
I've implemented features requested by sponsors before, when feasible, and I'm open to doing that again.
