Website Ideas Brainstorming

This page is a list of ideas for things we could add to the oneleif website, that might seem out of scope right now.

• add default avatar icons for people without a profile picture
• Markdown Processor/Interpretor
  • separate react app installed through npm
  • basic markdown to jsx
  • ability to pass custom markdown rules to processor
  • ability to pass custom css styling and add classnames to markdown
  • display/preview/edit mode
• page to allow members to propose and vote on stream topics
  • the page is public, but only members can propose and vote
• page to show github contribution leaderboards
  • this would allow people to see who contribute most to open source
• page to assign homework and have comments on it
