eclipsebin provides an information-preserving, non-uniform binning scheme for eclipsing binary light curves. The method concentrates sampling within eclipse regions while maintaining coarser coverage out of eclipse, preserving key morphological features while significantly reducing the number of model evaluations required. This approach is designed for efficient forward modeling and inference in large-scale or computationally intensive analyses.
