WORK IN PROGRESS

The Sepsis Detection demonstration has been updated. This is a work in progress.

Summary of changes

  • A pyproject.toml file to manage dependencies.
  • All dependecies have been updated to the most up to date version at the time of writing (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn...)
  • The readme instructions have been updated. The author has used Poetry, and has updated the instructions in the readme to reflect this.
  • A license has been added. The Apache 2 LICENSE file has been copied from the MNIST demonstration to here.

Future improvements

  • This notebooks functionality has not been confirmed, as the author does not have access to the dataset required.
  • We would like to explore using synthetic data for this demonstration, enabling new users to have a go at the demo without a large barrier to entry.
  • This notebook makes use of the package: Sepsis Label Extraction, which we have forked. The fork is owned by DataSig. We have not yet successfully made use of this repository for this demonstration. Some work has been done on the fork to try and help build the dependency, but unfortunately this package still fails to install with our notebook dependencies.
  • Add Google Colab option
