📦 Installation

Method 1: Obsidian Community Themes (Recommended)

1. Open Obsidian Settings → Appearance
2. Click Themes → Community Themes
3. Search for "Simple Sorbet"
4. Click Install and then Use

Method 2: Manual Installation

1. Download the theme.css file from this repository
2. In your vault folder, create a .obsidian/themes/Simple Sorbet/ directory if it doesn't exist
3. Place the theme.css file in this directory
4. Open Obsidian Settings → Appearance → Theme and select "Simple Sorbet"

🎨 Customization

This theme supports Style Settings plugin for easy customization:

1. Install the Style Settings plugin from Community Plugins
2. Go to Settings → Style Settings
3. Customize options including:
   • Base color adjustments
   • Font sizes and line height
   • Heading styles and colors
   • Border toggle (minimalist borderless view)
   • Status bar visibility
   • First-letter file indicators in sidebar

Color Variations

To activate different sorbet color variations, add these CSS classes to Obsidian's Settings → Appearance → "Additional CSS classes" field:

🌓 Light & Dark Mode

The theme automatically adapts to Obsidian's light/dark mode setting. For best results:

• Use with Obsidian's default light/dark themes as base
• Color variations work in both modes with appropriately adjusted hues

📚 Typography

• Default font stack: Inter (primary), with system fallbacks
• Monospace font: Source Code Pro / Fira Code
• Optimized line height (1.5–1.6) for comfortable reading
• Responsive font sizing that scales with Obsidian's zoom settings
