Bidmaster - Online Auction Platform

Bidmaster is an online auction platform where users can view rare products, bid on, and purchase unique items across categories such as Collectibles, Art & Antiques, Jewelry & Watches, Furniture & Home Decor, Books & Manuscripts, Wine & Spirits, and Musical Instruments. This repository holds the source code for both the frontend and backend of the application.

Bidmaster offers a smooth user experience with real-time bidding, helping reduce the costs associated with travel and onsite management for auction events, thereby providing economic benefits.

Features

For Unregistered Users

  • View available auctions, products, and categories.
  • Filter and sort products by category, price, and other criteria.

For Registered Users

  • Buyers:
    • Bid on available items in ample of time
    • View their bidding history and bid status updates.
  • Sellers:
    • List items for auction.
    • Manage product details and view bidding information on listed products.

For Administrators

  • Manage auctions, including pricing and timing controls.
  • Set categories and monitor auction activity.

Additional Functionalities

  • Profile discovery for participants.
  • Foreign exchange display for international transactions.
