I am an Undergraduate Business Analytics student and open-source maintainer from Sri Lanka, passionate about building practical technology solutions that connect Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Developer Tools.
I enjoy working on projects that solve real problems, improve learning, and help students understand modern software development practices.
- 📊 Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- 🤖 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- 🛡️ Cybersecurity and Secure Communication
- 🧬 Post-Quantum Security Concepts
- 🐍 Python, SQL, Statistics, and Databases
- 🌱 Git, GitHub, Open Source, and Developer Workflows
🔐 Qsafe — Quantum-Safe Communication Protocol
An open-source scaffold for a post-quantum secure communication stack. It pairs quantum-resistant key exchange and signatures with a safe fallback to classical TLS, verifies both sides of a connection with hardware-backed attestation before any session starts, and carries every message inside an encrypted, transport-agnostic envelope with automatic key rotation — backed by built-in threat modeling, fuzzing, and CI security scanning.
My goal with Qsafe is not only to build a technical project, but also to learn how to maintain secure, well-documented, and contributor-friendly open-source software.
🌊 Hyperlocal-Climate-Platform — Flood Early-Warning Platform
An end-to-end prototype that turns near real-time weather data into hyperlocal flood early-warning and adaptation guidance. It ingests live weather feeds, runs hydrologic modelling to map risk at a fine-grained level, and aims to give at-risk communities more precise, timelier warnings than city-wide alerts allow.
✂️ Tailor-System (TailorCraft Pro) — Tailoring Business Management
A modern management system for tailor shops moving into the digital age — bringing orders, measurements, and day-to-day shop operations into one place so owners spend less time on paperwork and more on the craft.
Open source gives students like me the opportunity to learn beyond classrooms, collaborate with real developers, and build projects that can create impact.
As an undergraduate from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, I want to help more students become confident with:
- Git and GitHub
- Clean commit history
- Pull requests and collaboration
- Documentation
- Issue tracking
- Responsible open-source contribution
- Building projects that are useful, readable, and maintainable
I believe a good developer is not only someone who writes code, but someone who can communicate, document, collaborate, and maintain.
- Build stronger real-world projects in AI, analytics, and cybersecurity
- Improve my Git and open-source maintainer workflow
- Create beginner-friendly content for students learning Git and GitHub
- Contribute to developer communities and ambassador programs
- Grow as a responsible student developer and technical communicator
