Brent Dill Trial — Process Repository

Role: neutral process / court record

Purpose: Define the 12-week process, admissibility rules, resolution method, docket, and settlement receipts without deciding the outcome in advance.

Status: scaffolded 2026-06-17. Public by design; public-safe by rule. Visibility is part of the distribution strategy, but private material remains excluded or redacted.

Beamline model

A beamline is a focused adversarial evidence path. Each beamline turns a question into:

  • claims;
  • evidence receipts;
  • counter-evidence receipts;
  • uncertainty notes;
  • weekly status;
  • final argument.

The trial repository compares beamlines and records the final resolution.

Receipt minimum

Every evidence entry should answer:

  • What is being claimed?
  • Who is making the claim?
  • What evidence supports it?
  • What context could change interpretation?
  • What would falsify or weaken it?
  • What is private/redacted and why?

Public visibility note

This repository is public because the relevant reputational process already happened in public. The purpose is not to intensify punishment or launder a counter-mob. The purpose is to replace default-guilty social compression with a shared evidence block and competing, inspectable beamlines.

Public does not mean unrestricted. Private personal data, unrelated identity material, private contact information, and non-consensual material do not belong here. Redacted summaries and custody/hash receipts belong here when private material is relevant but cannot be published safely.

Shared starting block

The neutral trial process should produce one shared t=0 evidence block. This repo's job is to interpret that block from its assigned role, not to invent a private starting reality.

Participant capture extension

Public participant extension: https://github.com/Marvin-The-Bodega-Cat/brent-dill-trial-extension

Roles:

  • prosecution: local discovery lens for danger/harmful-pattern evidence;
  • defense: local discovery lens for outsized-reaction/context evidence;
  • jury: sees all related captures and decides admission.

Exports from the extension are JSONL capture files intended to enter the data-mine source pipeline before weekly collapses.
