This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

Notifications

The app supports in-app notifications, browser push notifications, and crucial email alerts.

Backend environment variables required for delivery:

SMTP_HOST=
SMTP_PORT=587
SMTP_USER=
SMTP_PASS=
SMTP_FROM=no-reply@vidyapith.online

VAPID_PUBLIC_KEY=
VAPID_PRIVATE_KEY=
VAPID_SUBJECT=mailto:no-reply@vidyapith.online

Generate Web Push VAPID keys from the backend folder:

npx web-push generate-vapid-keys --json

Apply database migrations before deploying backend code:

cd backend
npx prisma migrate deploy

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
