Parentheses and brackets in dynamic range

Is there a specific reason why the parentheses and brackets in the dynmic range are centered on teh base line instead of sitting on it, like all other (character) glyphs in the range?

As far as I can tell, the registration of brackets in the dynamic range seems to be unspecified, so this is likely a Bravura issue, not something defined by SMuFL.
