I'm Daan van der Zwaag, a PhD researcher in AI + Architecture who has been coding for 15 years. I build open-source agents that do real work for the people who make software :: engineers and designers. I want to keep them free, local, and independent, and this page funds that.

What I'm building. A line of small, sharp, open-source agents, each one solving a single real problem well. The throughline is simple :: tools that run on your machine, stay yours, and never become a paid product or a data funnel. Some are for security, some for design, some for the research workflows I live in. They share a philosophy more than a category.

Where it starts. The first one out is Penthera, a security scanner for the new wave of AI-coded apps. People ship faster than ever with AI, but those apps often go live with avoidable holes :: exposed routes, missing headers, weak auth, leaked secrets. Penthera points your agent (Cursor, Claude Code) or your terminal at a live URL or repo, finds the gaps, fixes them in your code, and re-scans to prove they are gone. Free, MIT-licensed, no signup, runs locally. More agents are already on the way.

Why sponsor. I want to keep building these in the open rather than turning them into products. Sponsorship funds the unglamorous part :: new probes, broader coverage, more agents, and staying current as the models (and the attacks) get stronger. It is the difference between this being something I squeeze in and work I can actually sustain.
