Error when using get_datasets(datasets$FileName) in Macos: Error in readfn(unzip_special(zfile, file[1], exdir = tmp), ...) :
'Rf_translateChar' must be called on a CHARSXP, but got 'NULL'

Thank you for checking in. At the moment, the issue is still pending. But I’m encountering a 502 error from the DHS API:

Error in handle_api_response(., to_json = FALSE) : 
   -> DHS API Request Failed [502] 
   -> Error Type: dhs_unknown_error

Because of this, I’m unable to reproduce the original problem right now. As soon as the 502 error is resolved, I will run the full R script again, capture the console output (including any errors), and post both the code snippet and my sessionInfo() output here. Apologies for the delay—thank you for your patience.

When I run the following code to get data for India:

survs <- dhs_surveys(surveyYearStart = 1990,selectSurveys=TRUE)
datasets <- dhs_datasets(surveyIds = survs$SurveyId, fileFormat = "FL", fileType = "IR")
datasets <- datasets %>% filter(SurveyType=="DHS") %>% distinct() %>% filter(CountryName=="India")
downloads <- get_datasets(datasets$FileName,clear_cache = FALSE)

I get in the console output:
