Docker Image not built automatically

Bug Description

The docker image at https://hub.docker.com/_/rakudo-star/ is no longer automatically updated.

Reproduction path

Visit https://hub.docker.com/_/rakudo-star/ and see that it's not up-to-date.

Questions

• If I made a PR against .github/workflows or whatever that would do the Docker build, would it be accepted
• What was the process for the most recent working one? Is it the gitlab-ci one, or have we had something more recent than that that updates the Docker images?

Hi.

1st, the Rakudo-Star docker container repo is at https://github.com/rakudo/docker. So, issues related to the "Docker Hub" releases of Rakudo-Star should go there...

2nd, the "releases" of https://github.com/rakudo/docker are already automated via https://github.com/rakudo/docker/blob/master/.github/workflows/update_release.yml

The last and really important step, which is a "pull request" in https://github.com/docker-library/official-images, is still manually. For some history, you could refer to https://github.com/docker-library/official-images/issues?q=label%3Alibrary%2Frakudo-star or directly to a given example as in https://github.com/docker-library/official-images/pull/18583/files

So, if one wants to fully automate the Docker Hub deployment, the missing link now is to get aware of new releases in https://github.com/rakudo/docker and then generate a pull request with the new release string and the originated git commit towards https://github.com/docker-library/official-images
