Now that gingko work has been merged into develop we no longer have to use a custom branch

Ginkgo is an option in HiOp, but we don't need to support that HiOp option. It is also unclear if HiOp supports the lates Ginkgo library. I will close this issue for now but feel free to reopen if necessary.
