Steps to reproduce
- Open Settings and go to the model/provider configuration.
- Read the BYOK subtext.
Expected Behavior
The subtext explains what to enter, with a concrete example of a valid endpoint or model identifier.
Actual Behavior
The subtext is confusing and there are no examples, so it isn't clear what a valid value looks like.
Proposed fix
Add hint text with examples throughout this section. Worth comparing the GitHub app's model-provider experience against our local model experience and closing the gap.
Related: #192 (BYOK / OpenAI-compatible endpoints), #248 (Copilot CLI BYOK / local models), #498 (delegate agent BYOK behavior). Those are feature work; this issue is about the copy on what already ships.
