after searching in the documentation and in the discussions, I don't find this information :
That is the unit of "update frequency"

but keep in mind that battery_sim is based on ENERGY, not power readings, which the smart meter does not update very frequently. Often it's updated every 10 seconds or longer, so if you pick anything below the standard 60 seconds the readings will be oscillating a bit.

I do NOT recommend anything below 30 seconds. Shorter updates do NOT improve the accuracy of the simulation.
