This change adds support for the new 2.x and 3.x firmwares for the UniFi Dream Machine (Pro), which remove UbiOS and instead boot directly into UniFi OS (a Debian derivative).

@boostchicken Waiting for those sources as well. I am having trouble successfully building the kexec modules for the latest firmware since I am still using the older kernel sources (that's why the PR is not merged yet).

@boostchicken @fabianishere have either of you had any free time to work on this? Any updates for us?

Upgraded several of my UDM Pro SE to v3.1.15 tonight. This release adds support for configuring Site-to-Site WireGuard VPN between UDM / Pro / SE devices. UI is calling it "Site Magic" and it's configured from the Unifi Console Portal. It would be really cool to run a few podman containers on each UDM and be able to communicate with each other :-)

@fabianishere: is there any update on this? I believe I've backed myself into a corner updating UnifiOS and desperately need to update the kernel to get some of the magic I had with 1.x...

@docbobo Have not had time too look at this unfortunately. Though I heard Ubiquiti started locking down the kernels with sign modules, so this approach might not be viable for long anymore.

Did we ever get the 3.x kernel sources, or confirmation that it is no longer possible to run custom kernels? I was hoping to get multipath back.

Hello @jfroy, you might be interested in hearing that ubiquiti has added multi path in UDM4.1 as well as BGP support. If you cat /proc/config.gz | gunzip | grep CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH you will be rewarded with a CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH=y.

Yes I am aware and I've been using it ever since it was released. Good to update this thread anyways for folks following it.
