Does not work on freshly installed Ubuntu 16.4.2 + OpenJDK 8 (jre-headless + jdk)

When browsing to http://localhost:9000/simulator I get the following stack trace.

Do I have the wrong version of akka? And if so, which version do I need?

I found the following in the build.sbt:
scalaVersion := "2.11.7"
val akkaVersion = "2.4.1"

I get the following output when executing ./activator run the first time:

(I forced the scalaVersion in the build.sbt on a third try. Same warnings, minus that first one)

I've got the same issue, perhaps did you finally manage to fix it by yourself somehow?
If yes, please enlighten me! :)
