Our old Rpi2b crashed after about 1500hrs of printing, trying to set up everything again on a rpi4b and it wont print... #227

After 1500hrs of printing, me and my now 11yo moved on to other hobbies for a few months and when we came back to print something, the raspberry pi running klipper had crashed... I had it running perfectly with KAMP and lots of little tweaks... unfortunately I never made a backup... Now starting over with a brand new pi 4b I've gone through the setup guide 3x times now with a fresh mainsail SD card image. Right after a fresh install it will talk to the printer just fine. can do pid tune and all the calibrations. but it wont print. It gives an error when I upload the gcode. When I make any changes to the printer.cfg file, after restart I get: Once I get that message, I cant ever get it to connect to klipper again, even if I wipe the config folder and reupload the config following the instructions. The only way I've been able to get it to talk again is to start over with a new mainsail image... |

oh man, that was it, thank you so much! I kept skimming over that part in the instructions... Normally I never change the default user names cause I'm lazy like that, but my son had his name set as the username in the raspberry pi imager because he's been using them for coding class... |
