Hello, I have a suggestion: create a screensaver.
One that displays the clock, like on the home screen, along with cloud cover and the outside temperature. It also displays critical information in square icons (like the current short icons in the Control Panel, which are square with rounded edges).
The settings contain three checkboxes and a brightness slider.
The first checkbox activates the screensaver timeout, allowing you to choose, for example, 30 seconds, one minute, or five minutes after the last screen touch.
The second checkbox enables full sleep mode, for example, five minutes after entering screensaver mode.
The third checkbox ignores all screensaver settings except brightness, but enables night mode with the ability to customize the on/off time. (For example, the screen works as usual during the day, but from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, a screensaver with a set brightness is activated.)
On this page, you can also configure the clock position and the display of square icons for sensor status (numeric value) and binary sensors (on or off state), which display the status in color and text in a square.
Thank you.
Why is this useful?
It doesn't blind you at night and saves energy when needed.
