Bug summary

In the Rider IDE on Linux Mint, installed V17.0.0 from NuGet. UI says it's installed. However, no directory visible in App_Plugins.

Running site up produces this in the log:-

[11:01:45 INF] Starting 'PageNotFoundManager'...
[11:01:45 INF] At {pagenotfound-init-complete}
[11:01:45 INF] Done

Opening the Back Office reveals this in the Dev Console:-

And there is no extra menu item in the "Do something else" dropdown, like there is in a V13 site.

Expected to see an item on the "Do something else" dropdown pertaining to setting a 404 page.
Actually, there was no extra item in the "Do something else" dropdown, and in addition a Dev Console 404 stating the package couldn't be found.

This is not just a Linux issue.

The latest 2.2.3 on V13 is also affected

Ok, must just be the symptoms are different for V17. It looked different to the issue I reported on V13. At least the previous version worked on V13. I'll just set the 404 in appsettings.json in V17 then.

@AaronSadlerUK are you sure? I've installed this package on 3 clean v17 sites (both v17.0.0 and v17.0.1) and had no issues with it as a clean install.

If it's a Linux issue, I would need more details as I don't run/use Linux - it's possible there is a casing issue occurring but I'd need someone whos working on Linux to investigate for me.

@NikRimington mine broke on both the v17 and v13 versions simply by upgrading the minor Umbraco versions

It looks like it's trying to run a migration it shouldn't be running...

@AaronSadlerUK that's a different issue to this one - the issue you are experiencing is the other install issue ticket where I removed a migration (working on a fix for that as well) :-)

This one is a casing issue which I think I've just been able to identify.
@craigs100 I should be able to get a fix out for this in the next few days
