Missing Audio Languages/Lines

Hello there, love your Plugin.
I am new to Jellyfin but as far as I know Jellyfin should select the correct Audio channel if provided.
I know that my extreme codes provider is sending multiple Audio Streams for Vods and Series and sometimes live tv but I am not able to get the right language.

As far as I understand Jellyfin should show me all audio lines under media info. But there is always just one. I think it is due to this plugin, but I cant pinpoint it.

Maybe you know from the top of you head, that this is a missing feature oder maybe a bug?

Would love to listen to my stuff in the right language.

If this is not a plugin problem please let me know. I am out of knowlage at the moment.

We can only provide Jellyfin with this information if we have it. Can you show me the JSON response you get for a get_vod_info API call with a vod id that has multiple audio tracks?

In Jellyfin, i receive the following media info:

It shows that there are two audio streams. Maybe it is a jellyfin problem overall. I am not sure.

Not sure, but I think some functionality is not implemented yet.

Also, 2 Audiokanäle doesn’t mean there are two languages available.
It usually just means the audio is stereo.

The best way I found to check what the IPTV provider actually delivers is :

. start a movie or TV show

. check the latest ffmpeg log

. copy the direct stream URL

. paste it into VLC

If there are multiple audio tracks or subtitles, VLC will show them without any issue.

I already tested this on several movies:
no subtitles are available in Jellyfin via the Xtream plugin, while VLC clearly shows subtitle tracks for the same stream.

@gunnyyy666 Thanks for the feedback. I know for a fact that there are mutiple audio streams. In VLC and in Tivimate I can change the Audio to my prefered language (in this case german and english)

You're welcome. I have no doubt there are multiple audio streams. Just saying audio canal isn't the number of audio streams contained.

I am facing the same issue not only with the audio streams but also with the subtitles. Is there any way to be able to select the subtitles as well as the audio stream?

Honestly, no. Except if you know css/html and wanna made you're own change. I tried many links on vlc and same links with the plugins, and no problem with vlc, but no choice for audio/subtitles, even if the file have it. I finished to be annoyed to found nothing really working well. Many thanks for the devs, and hope it will be better with times, but I finished by doing some powershell script for import it in the normal library with virtual files (.strm files, with the http link in it, and like that, I can change audio/subtitles) Not sure when, but I probably gonna do a post on reddit with the scripts Le sam. 17 janv. 2026, 13:40, routerman-peru ***@***.***> a écrit :

As i said, i made a reddit post on how to generates with powershell scripts .strm files from iptv, who gonna be saw by jellyfin as a local files (so no problem for change audio/subtitles)
