@johroj Three separate streaming bugs fixed, two of them workarounds for libcurl bugs impacting specific versions of Julia and one that was in our streaming code. Streaming now works reliably in 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12. Don't worry about rebasing for now, we can use Claude to help with that when the time comes. I don't expect to be merging anything further before we bring your changes in.

@csvance If you are limited on time for having a look on the interface changes, I would personally prefer if this could be released (as long as you believe it is robust). I have finished everything I needed the cancellation and metadata for, but cannot make an internal release until these features are registered. Interface changes can be made separately.

I have been testing the main branch briefly over the past days and I'm at least very happy with how well everything works. Streaming of real-time audio works without hiccups and cancellation acts like it should. Its also a lot easier to run things in parallel tasks now that there's no need to call into python.

@johroj EDIT: woops, I misread you! Yes, I'm perfectly fine with that, and its been my experience as well that stability is much better.

We can push out the interface changes as 1.2.0.
