Indefinite automatic link forwarding from the original reference via the list's Zenodo entry would have to be ensured first.
An idea of the analysis there based on the aggregated historical data of this list was also to turn this analysis into a homepage that automatically updates the analysis just like the list itself. This might also put the list under more community control and enlist additional volunteers to move it forward and keep it fresh and useful.
