quick v4 pool identification and confirmation right now is pretty challenging. The front uniswap front-end isn't giving enough data.

How is one supposed to double check the tick-spacing for v4 pools? to properly identify the pools we need to include tick-spacing information. The UI doesn't specify the tick-spacing for v4 pools. only the fee value is shown. Also just read this in uniswap discord: "I see that you deployed your position with a hook. The Uniswap UI currently does not route trades through hooked pools which is why it might show no route available"

I don't see anything about tick spacing in their web UI to help identifying the pools.

Though the hooks are (very discretely) displayed when they exist ...

That was also my first thought, but since there are pools with fees that are not standard (independently of their liquidity), what would be their corresponding tick spacing? The closest?

Not sure that's what you're looking for: the pool id is basically the keccak of the pool key which includes the tick spacing ... poolKeys is just a mapping to get the key from the id ...
Actually, it seems to be a good idea since the pool id is in the URL, so you can request poolKeys with it (truncated to 25 bytes) and get the pool key, and so the tick spacing! 👍
