I could not connect through corporate proxy anymore Im I doing something wrong ?

Before upgrading to Dependency-track v5,
I was using ALPINE_ proxy variables to make request and it was working fine.

• With version 5 of dependency-track I did the same config only changing the environnment variables

  DT_HTTP_PROXY_HOST=proxy.example.com
  DT_HTTP_PROXY_PORT=888
  DT_HTTP_PROXY_AUTH_USERNAME=USER01
  DT_HTTP_PROXY_AUTH_PASSWORD=mypassword!

But didn't work

• I also tried to put property in the script entrypoint :

• -Ddt.http.proxy.host=proxy.example.com
  -Ddt.http.proxy.port=8080
  -Ddt.http.proxy.auth.username=USER01
  -Ddt.http.proxy.auth.password=mypassword!

• Finally I removed above variable to and tried with HTTP/S and http/s variables this way:

  http_proxy=http://USER01:mypassword%21@proxy.example.com:8888

  Also without encoding

  http_proxy=http://USER01:mypassword!@proxy.example.com:8888

But I still get a 407 error you can see in the screen
The password Iam using contain only one reserved characters wich is "!"
When I enter the password in the value of http_proxy vars I encode it : %21 (eg. mypassword%21)
The username dosen't contain reserved characters only A-z 0-9

This is the error I get when I lauch analyzer api test:

Can you try setting this env var:

EXTRA_JAVA_OPTIONS: "-Djdk.http.auth.tunneling.disabledSchemes= -Djdk.http.auth.proxying.disabledSchemes="

in addition to the DT_HTTP_PROXY_* env vars in your first attempt?

Awesome, I'll see if we can ship a fix in 5.0.1 so configuring these settings explicitly is not necessary.
