Steam Audio allows for sound transmission (and can filter the sound accordingly), but it seems that once the sound comes from outdoor to indoor, it is not considered anymore in the reverberation algorithm and we only hear the (filtered) direct sound.
A potential solution might be to include an invisible sound source on the wall where the ray between the outside source and the listener intersects with the wall, but there has to be a better solution..
